The FlexaNet Video monitoring system is an accurate and efficient application which checks that the video signal is transmitted in perfect condition to the user receivers.
MPEG/DVB measurements show in real time:

Hierarchical decoding of SI/PSI tables. An indicator light shows the PIDs that contain errors according to TR 101 290, so that these errors can be rapidly identified.

SI/PSI tables analysis with containers of 1st, 2nd and 3rd priority parameters, and with a multicolor 'LED' indicating errors and defects.

PCR analysis of each program include accuracy, jitter, offset and interval between samples.

Multiple players are involved in the delivery of Digital Video Services:

Digital Video Service Provider: Digital Video Service is usually based on the provision of exclusive TV channels and programs. MPEG compression and digital transmission are used to increase both the number of TV channels that can be supplied and their quality.

Content Makers. They could be a TV channel (CNN, News Channel, etc.), a company owning the rights of an event and providing the TV signal (football league, tennis matches, horse races, etc.) or any company providing speciality TV programs (classic films, cartoons, etc.).

Network Operator or Broadcaster: Often neither the Content Maker nor the Digital Video Service Provider own a transmission network or broadcasting resources. Therefore they use the transport facilities provided by Network operators and broadcasters to deliver the information to the final customers.

Performance Management: The G.821, G.826 and M2100 performance is constantly analyzed in periods of 15 minutes to 24 hours.

Tracing: Graphical tracing of alarms, errors and performance with a resolution of 1 sec. Data retention up to three months. Detect error bursts and repetitive events.
