Virtual Concatenation also brings new challenges for installing and testing these networks. Victoria Combo enables you to test networks using both Low Order and High Order Virtual Concatenation. It offers VC-11Xv, VC-12-Xv for mapping 10Mbit/s Ethernet services and VC-2-Xv, VC-4-Xv for mapping 100Mbit/s Fast Ethernet or 1Gbit/s Ethernet services. Victoria Combo can detect all the events related to Virtual Concatenation when monitoring the network, or generate any event when simulating a piece of network equipment.

LCAS (Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme) allows network operators to change the size of a data pipe dynamically as demand changes, without affecting the traffic being carried. Victoria Combo allows you to analyse and generate the LCAS protocol on the network.

One of the strengths of Next Generation Networks is their ability to transport Ethernet traffic efficiently. Victoria Combo enables you to generate and analyse Ethernet frames over SDH and SONET.
